At Forman-Function we understand that designing a new custom kitchen for your home isn’t always easy. However, the Forman-Function design team will prove to be a tremendous help in simplifying and expediting the new kitchen or remodeling process. You will find our expertise invaluable when it comes to designing the layout for your kitchen that places each component of your kitchen. Each component of your custom kitchen is carefully considered: the placement of your food storage, range, cutlery drawer, dishwasher, etc. We can creatively combine the ambience you desire with the functionality that you need. We will help you every step of the way with space planning, custom cabinet design, plumbing and electrical fixture selection, interior finishes and appliance selection, and lighting design.
The first thing to do when deciding to design your new kitchen, is to organize your kitchen design ideas. Who uses the kitchen and how is it used? If two or more cooks generally work at the same time you may want to consider adding extra counter space or an extra sink. If you like to entertain you may want to open up the kitchen/living room area into a large room that lets you enjoy the party while working in the kitchen. Make note of the other activities that commonly occur in your kitchen, some homes have a laundry closet in the kitchen, others want a wet bar, a breakfast bar, or a writing desk. Also, if you are planning to live in the house for an extended amount of time it’s worth customizing the countertop height for someone taller or shorter than average. Here are a few other areas that we will assist you with:

As with the lighting plan, your installer will receive a color coordinated plan of the cabinet installation that provides for an easy installation. Great plans achieve great results!

We create and present three plans for possible kitchen designs for you to choose from, taking into consideration flow and function. Once you select a plan, we will provide detailed graphics and 3D renderings of your kitchen design, as well as a detailed plan for cabinet installation.
We have two locations to serve our customers, but location is never a problem. Our online design process is unsurpassed in the industry and we routinely work with customers all over the country. By partnering with several manufacturers, you not only get more individual door styles (no one company makes all styles) but you also gain the advantage of on-time, reduced freight rates. Your cabinetry will be delivered to any location in the U.S. and will be guaranteed, as our precise plan and cabinets will be corner padded and boxed (not wrapped) directly from the factory to your site, avoiding unnecessary damage from double handling.
